When I ran into logging on issues, a guy called Sani helped us and solved it in 15 min. I like tge way he guided us non-tech savvy people and told us what he will be doing, how long it will take etc.
See most helpful advice. Their server is slow. TTFB 3s even from Singapore. Support asked me to get a CDN for malaysian traffic. Malaysian server btw.... Slow and not helpful support team. Just check the reviews here from Malaysian. switch or stay away from exabytes. Its really that bad
The plan "Ebiz Gold Pro" on a server with fair performance.
Premium Fees Paid(Ebiz Pro "SSD Hosting"), but get my websites hosted on a fair server. I found another web hosting company at almost the same price on the plan but their hosting server is better than Exabytes. I signed up and done the site migration to test. End up the server performs better than Exa. It's same level of hosting spec but I get my websites hosted in a server with better performance. I really cannot tell why they treat Business Hosting Plan this way. I choose them because of they are a reputable company in Malaysia. I guessed I'm wrong with it.
And, their online supports have a lot of improvement need to go. When you asking a question, they will take more than 5 - 15 minutes to reply.
When I complaint why my server is that kind of performance, they come back with a response and said "As we check, we find everything is okay for us."
What else can I say? I decided to make the switching.
Hey! I was switching to Hostarmada from Exabytes. The experience was pretty good, but their renewal is getting expensive, so I had to switch again. Now, I use Racknerd. It's pretty good and so much more affordable, and it's a fixed rate on future renewals.
we had a problem and seek for tehcnical support. we create ticket and based on the website 24/7 live support. no single email have been replied! first time encounter shit hosting
If you want to reach their support by live-chat, that is only available from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm. They told me that technical support is available 24/7 by email. I didn't get any reply from them when I look for help for an urgent case(I also blanket urgent in email). So, now I got a good web hosting company that provides 24/7 support by live-chat no matter if you are looking for sales, billing, and technical. I prefer this.
I second this. their live support is just shit. They're just receptionist who redirect traffics. The actually people working on the technical issues are close to non existence when you need them.
To be honest, if you want web hosting from Malaysia, you may check with Shinjiru. They have better service quality than Exabytes. But in terms of hosting quality, I don't recommend any web hosting providers from Malaysia. They don't do the good work. I prefer hosting providers from other countries instead. Like Hostarmada, Racknerd, etc. They offer technical support 24 hours a day, seven days a week via live chat which is good unless your case is so serious, then they will suggest you to open a ticket, but they will get back to you very fast.
Absolutely amazing! We have been using various hosts since 2007 and we recently moved to Exabytes. So far we have found Exabytes to be the best one of all. Most hosting providers lure you at first place with amazing statistics. With Exabytes, we never faced tech issue. Plus, the level of support we received was pretty good.
DNS Changed without my knowledge, and slow support in changing it back
My website suddenly stop working, after spending time to check, i found that the DNS was changed to default DNS without my knowledge. They support team need me to email customer care team, and customer care team very slow in response.My website is down and i am losing sales for 1-2 days. (if they can fix this in 1 day).
