Super fast support, reliable to the extreme,by far the best! I was a bit unsure about joining ICDsoft at first when I found them in 2006 because they cost a small bit more than the competition. But I was SOOO exhausted with all the crappy hosts I'd been dealing with for the previous 5 years, and I wanted to try paying slightly more for better service. And I didn't realize that at ICDsoft I would get a significant discount on every domain and hosting account I add after the first - making it a good deal.
Well, I definitely found everything I'm looking for here. I am shocked with the service here. My site is always up. My email is always up. Not just up - but Normal. When I have a question, they answer it (and not with lies or run-around because they don't know what they are talking about). When I'd like help - with something like getting a download of some sql file, or restoring a site I messed up, they help instantly (within 20 minutes) without even questioning it. Oh, and when I need to send email to many members of my group at the same time - it just works!
Before ICDsoft I dealt with things changing all the time when the hosts put in security changes that didn't work after they got hit with problems. One host even disabled my account for 5 days because a hacker from India hacked into their system!.
With ICDsoft, I just don't deal with that crap. So far, not at all!!!! I keep waiting for something to go wrong, and it simply doesn't. Somehow they manage to keep their servers off the spam-block lists without installing all kinds of extra crappy security measures that make life difficult for us users. How they do that, I'll never know - but other hosts should pay them for advice! I did recently have a hacker hack one of my email accounts (our fault) and send out spam. ICDsoft put a hold on outgoing email, notified us, and we were able to get it fixed and back up in minutes.
They also notify us well in advance and repeatedly when something is going to change - like support for an old version of php will be removed. They also let us know when there is a new security concern that we can do something about.
I love their interface. I can find everything I need, and it just simply works. And it's Fast. It's not the regular CPanel, but a proprietary one. Very user friendly.
I was disappointed when they discontinued the affiliate program in 2012 because I did refer clients to them all the time. But I'm also thrilled that they did it because they hit "critical mass". Every other host we used was really good in the beginning, and then swirled down the toilet as word got out and more people signed up. ICDsoft seems to actually care more about the clients they have than just getting new clients.
We upgraded our plan from the cheapest plan to the middle plan a few years ago just because we felt they deserved a few extra dollars for their exemplary service (even though we knew we'd never need the extra space or features). I recommend them as #1 to all of the pet sitting members of our association for their own business websites. Especially now that they offer a new very easy proprietary website tool alongside the other usual options (Joomla, Wordpress, etc).
