Vox is an accidental disaster in the republic of South Africa . I keep asking,how did this worthless company obtain the license to establish a sorrowful telecommunication company. My line was I stalled, recieved my router and a week later I'm still waiting for PMO to activate my line. They are beyond useless and the only reason I had to change from Herotel who are so professional is because they do not cover my area I moved to. They are fucjej useless. USELESS.
Stay away from vox. Just after money. Do not care about their customers or their situations. Make a lot a promises without any results. Please do not fall in their trap.
More than 1 month no internet no returns on phone calls or emails, very unhelpful staff no customer service. Billing for a service not provided endless headache wish we never got a contract with them never ending nightmare.
Vox has switched of my line for the past 5 days. With endless phone calls and emails, no one can seem to reconnect me. My business has suffered immensely and instead of vox treating you as a customer you more of an inconvenience to their incompetent staff. A ticket is logged all the time but nothing ever gets done. If you want reliable internet and a half decent service then stay away from vox because you won't get that from them. I was warned to stay away from vox but nonetheless I never listed and unfortunately bearing the burden of a company who is truly the worst of them all.
DO NOT SIGN ANY QUOTE OR CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE LIARS, THIEVES AND IMMORAL!!.
The company claims to be based in South Africa but actually their service provider is in Abu Dhabi so if you have any issues you have to jump through hoops for over 1 month and the issue does not get resolved. There is no way to get out of their contracts, you will literally be bound to them for the length of the contract even if you dont use their services. The sales team are smooth talkers, do not believe a single word they tell you, they are all lies, their products don't work for anything else aside from emails, netflix and youtube. You are better off using an LTE from telkom than VOX. Even your mobile hotspot is better than them. Be warned, its a scamming company that has an iron clad contract. I haven't used their product since installation after being assured it will work, it never did but i have to pay them for 24 months.
We have had Vox for a few months and recently started getting major buffering to the extent that if one laptop is on nothing can be watched on a TV. This is intermittent and I get calls from them saying the router has been reset, they are checking the speed etc. but it just seems to be getting worse. I was told to call them straight away when it is actually happening but waited so long for the call to be answered that I just gave up. I'm now looking for another provider.
Our Vox service is fine now, the problem was with a streaming service we were using which wasn’t playing as it should have done. We’ve discontinued with that and just using Netflix which doesn’t have anywhere near what we want to watch but at least there’s virtually no buffering now.
