I accidentally deleted my entire website (my fault), and my backups weren't working properly, but they managed to provide a backup and support within record time. Saved me from a panic attack. These days it is refreshing to talk to a human being at the other end of the phone and especially one who has the knowledge to help. Over the last year, the service from Arvixe has been horrendous. There have been server outages that have lasted from hours to almost a week. Technical Support staff is incompetent. Additionally, they do not read the messages... 展开 that one sends in chat. As for generating a trouble ticket, I generated a trouble ticket on Dec. 30, 2022 at 8:30am Central Time. They did not respond until January 3, 2023 at 9:05am stating there was no problem. Well. NO SH*T, Sherlock. The server reappeared sometime after 21:00 on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Even though the server shared057.arvixe.com died sometime on December 29. There are no reports that anything was wrong with the server. Plus, Arvixe raises their rates every year once you are stupid enough to purchase a service. Things were good in 2015, yet the service and support has rapidly declined since 2019. At one time, I hosted 10 domains on Arvixe. Because of poor service I moved them to another hosting service. Will move the last three this month. 收起
I have done businesses with many companies like Namecheap, InternetBS, Namesilo, Dynadot and lot more but never seen such bad company like Blacknight.
Their website is completely horrible(UI/UX). I was circling through the w... 展开 hole website to find my invoice. Their Odin panel is from 90's and you will have a hard time to find what you need.
If you're not from Ireland they will ask shit ton of documents to provide you service and even some of the documents are too much(passport, national ID, credit card picture, utility bill, and what not). I never had this many documents required at any other company. Complete hell for privacy.
Customer support agents are egoistic as hell. Like others reported they just want to deal with customers asking for support. When I complained I am not okay providing this many documents the support agent immediately left the chat instead of providing any solution and after I rated the chat as bad the agent immediately joined again and asked if I want to cancel the order. I replied I want to cancel my order and my information deleted from their system. The agent left the chat again immediately!
Don't trust those TrustPilot reviews. They are mostly from "Ireland" and I suspect Blacknight themselves created those TrustPilot account and reviewed themselves. 收起
