My website had up to 90,000 pageviews per month and the reason they suspended my account is because there were video-files on the server, which is against their terms of service. I didn't know this, but in my defense the files weren't used. They were there because I was trying some stuff out before wanting to switch over to dedicated hosting.
They suspended my account for that, just out of the blue. No COMMUNICATION whatsoever. They didn't even bother to tell me "Hey, we found video-files on your server. This isn't allowed, please remove them or we will have to suspend your account." No, they just suspended it out of the blue. They don't care about communication nor the customer. I get 3,000 pageviews per day and all those users now faced the "this account is suspended message". There's also no refund on account-suspension. They rather grab the money now than having a longterm paying customer looking to upgrade.
There was a guy from support, manually going to my files on the server looking for video-files. Why was he even there on my server? They don't care about privacy either. They are too happy to screw over customers. Imagine if the DMCA really pushed to close down a website? I wouldn't trust this hosting to have the best interest.
Pay more and go elsewhere. I got a different hosting, no looking back.
