Godaddy has been having difficulties with their Linux servers since at least early 2020. They can’t update their PHP software so WordPress sites may not work correctly - including my sites.
First problems appeared in early 2020 when 2 of my new domain names locked up when pointed to a directory folder and they could not be fixed (pending for 6+ months). Was told different estimates multiple times. Now told 2021.
The final straw was when I attempted to setup a new site using the same processes I’ve used 30+ times and it didn’t work. I was told they will fix the issue in 3+ months. Why should I believe Godaddy?
The proposed solution is to buy another Godaddy Linux service in addition to the one I already have and for me to move my sites to the new servers. What happens if that platform stops working?
The issue is trust. Bought a standard WordPress hosting service on a Linux platform. It doesn’t work any more because Godaddy can’t fix it - 9 months so far.
I can’t be the only one having these issues. Be careful. If it happens to you, you were warned.

t has just died a fast hard death. There servers are slow ... yet they maintain that it is the website and plugins, even with developers saying it was undoubtedly the server. I changed to siteground - and the page speed improved significantly. I had an old site - hosting and domain, though really only used it for the email. I was going to move this across to siteground too ... realised that my hosting wasn't there, contacted them ... they realised that while the website was working and it was still hosted there, I just didn't have access to it from my own account ... and that they hadn't billed me (which was all automatic) - and so hit me up with a bill for 2-years. I wasn't happy at all ... I could have eaten it, had they offered a half decent service ... but like I said, that has long gone. They are arrogant and rude and very very unhelpfuly.
