es not have any control over the indian subsidiary. This is the worst company to work with, please stay away from them.
1) They increase their prices in a adhoc manner without giving sufficient notice and if you argue with them they straight away suspend your accounts. There are no business ethics or principles the company works with.
2) They change their server IP and provide no information to customers to update them for days the ip goes down no action is taken by them and suddenly after 3-4 days they change the ip without sending emails to customers to update it.
3) Their cpanel software has bugs, they also disable the backup facility, the acronis backup does not work, and then they ask for additional payment just to take a backup. All because their cpanel backup software has bugs so they charge you and penalise you for it. Their support team says that taking backup is not a right that is given under hosting services, which means I cannot take a backup of my own data without paying additional (blackmail tactics again)
4) They not only cheat customers but are cheating the government of India by not paying GST taxes. Since 6 months they have not filed the returns and their support team gives an excuse that we are the only ones complaining, so that their must be some error with our account only. They think we are naive, when on the government portal it clear lists upto what date the returns have been filled.
They are a dishonest, cheating, fraud company. They change their GST numbers to evade taxes first they had their registered office in West Bengal then they changed it to Maharashtra. There also they are not paying taxes.
It seems that this company is run by amateurs who are out to make a quick buck and fool customers by blackmailing them once their data is there on their server. We have record of every communication but to avoid overloading this review with too much of details we have not uploaded the conversation we have had with their team.
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.

In October, my site was down for a several days due to Support's arrogance. My WP theme had a major update, which broke my site even though I built a Child theme.
I requested a restore and gave Support the exact file from which to restore. However, support restored from a 2018 backup! (Another issue - support creates all these old folders on my File Manager when dealing with problems, then doesn't delete them). It's only the 2nd time in 4 years that I requested a restore. Support was adamant that I was wrong and the restore was correct and from the Oct 2020 file. We know what we've designed and built over the years, right?
Finally after several days of my site looking incomplete - not really functional - and hours on chat, one support guy confirmed that the restore was from a 2018. He didn't know how that could of happened, even though I gave them the exact file name/date/etc. (I've built a staging site now.)
If that wasn't bad enough for the October month, last week InMotion emailed to advise that I had to delete files as my account was too large, or it was being moved to another server. I'd have temp details until propagation was complete. InMotion provides "unlimited disk space"!
I emailed twice to advise that I'd clear all the old folders (around 30GB) and heard nothing. Sunday just gone, I get another email saying the move was almost complete and not to make changes to my site or use temp details to make changes!
I've been arguing with InMotion ever since that I didn't want my account moved and that I wanted to delete the 30GB of useless files created by InMotion, but it moved my account regardless!
These are only a couple of problems that I've experienced in 4 years. I'm now looking at another host as I've had enough!
