ted servers with a few different datacenters.
I don't remember how I came across KnownHost, but after giving them a trial run, I knew I'd found my new home! Their pricing is more than reasonable, but the value really arrives with their support team.
I know just enough to screw things up from time to time. In the past, I've had to hire server techs to help out (or pay a premium fee with the datacenter techs, who at times seemed like they knew only marginally more than I did).
No matter how dumb my issue, the techs at KnownHost are always super prompt, courteous, and accurate. It's gotten to the point where I don't stress at all when something goes wrong with an update or service; I know the techs there will tackle it within minutes. This contrasts with hours--sometimes even days--of back-and-forth with the support team of some of my past hosts (each which cost me way more than KW does, I might add).
I really couldn't be happier with these guys, and hope to be a client of theirs for decades to come.
Oh, and that one bad thing I mentioned in the headline? It's simply that I didn't discover KnownHost sooner!

ded a specialized host, who can hand-hold in critical situations, and yet offer great hosting with responsive support and decent pricing.
Nexcess ticks all the boxes, and more. I have had no problems reaching them via tickets, and they are accessible on phone without long waits. Tickets are resolved courteously, comprehensively, and with a human touch.
I once had a mid-level issue, and Tier 2 support (and management) dug issues in deep, gave me a very detailed RCA, and helped fix it comprehensively. Another time, they helped troubleshoot a problem brought about by a bad add-on when they could have just told me that this is not in purview of hosting.
My experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. Hosting multiple M1 sites with them, and can't be happier with the speed and performance either.
I am using their Cloud Hosting platform (selecting DS 210, as cloud hosting is not available in the dropdown). Highly Recommended!

dpress sites. The process to move my sites from LiquidWeb to Nexcess was very cumbersome - one would think that because these two companies share management the transfer process would be easy. Nope . It took several weeks and for each site I had to create a separate ticket. I finally got the sites moved over and whenever there is a problem there is no phone support (or at least no one has ever picked up). They use a ticket system and response time is very slow - usually I end up waiting several days and have to constantly demand attention. I regret moving to Nexcess - they are a bad choice if you value customer service.
