To clarify, you do need to have some knowledge on how to set up a server, but who is renting a server without that kind of knowledge anyways?
I never had any billing problems either. Of course you have to check the contract, but for VPS e.g. there is no minimum rental time, you can cancel the server after 10hrs of usage without any problem for example and only pay for those 10 hours.

When I contacted FastComet sales, they offered to close my account and refund my credit card, and that just felt they are holding a gun at me and requesting me to comply with this theft, or-less . i haven't received any notification or email from them regarding a price surge as a fact!
even if they say they sent one i did not receive it anywhere , in addition i did not agree to a 100% increase in my basic annual hosting cost!
so if any of you experienced the same experience i will love to apply a Federal class action lawsuit regarding this particular action from their side.

they took it in a very bad way by suspending all my services and indeed claiming for suspensions fees.
I agree with other posts, this company follows very unethically/intimidation practices like sending debt collectors for something that indeed is already paid.
